"Delightful...I would recommend it to anybody...."
- Del Biaggi, Director, Bureau of Sanitation, City of Los Angeles
This video shows children teaching grown-ups
to recycle. A 12 year old girl's curiosity leads her to challenge
her mother's disposal habits. This innocent conflict denies
their garbage man his familiar load of cans, bottles, plastic
and paper. Soon all of Tinka's young neighbors contribute
to the act. They prevent any reluctant parent from tossing
what can be reused or recycled. Their trip to the recycling
center is filled with meaning.
In the words of children, spiced
with lively music and colorful illustrations, viewers hear
how plants and animals everywhere benefit from simple habits
we all can adopt.
