"The
tour's presentation is educational, inspiring, and empowering."
- Casey Kasem, Radio and TV Host
"Few people can take an
audience full of junior high school students, make them laugh,
make them think, and teach them that they can save the earth
at the same time. But the YES! Tour is doing exactly that."
- The Good Times, Santa Cruz, CA
Youth for Environmental Sanity (YES!) is a concerned group of teenaged environmentalists who criss-cross the country in a cramped old station wagon presenting their message to 200,000 students a year. Their goal is to inform young people about environmental issues and empower them to make a difference. The YES! Tour video follows these articulate young activists as they make their entertaining and fact-filled presentation with its passionate call to action.
Members of the multi-racial group are profiled in some funny and poignant personal moments offstage. In one scene on the road, the group discusses how important it is for them to find a healthy place to eat other than fast food restaurants - an important message in itself to young people. The video is a great way to stimulate discussion on environmental issues, and the value of individual commitment or group action on any issue.
